Our final farewell to Bahrain was a very quiet affair, as we spent the last two months meeting up and saying goodbye to our friends made over the last two decades. The day started off with loading our travel bags into the car, tidying up the house and finally locking up. We set off quietly to the Bahrain – Saudi border in anticipation of the journey ahead.
